This app is great! It has so many knots. Also, each knot has tons of info in it. It describes the knots history, other names, similar knots, and of course how to do the knot. I would definitely recommend this app to any amateur knot tying person (like myself). Im not sure what an experienced knot tying person would think of it, but I think they would like it. It does have a great variety of knots.

Between the picture of the knot and the advertising you can only see a few lines of instructions on how to actually tie the knot. If you accidentally touch while trying to scroll through the instructions, which is very easy to do because it is so intrusive, it opens it up in an even bigger format.

It would be great to see more of the knots instead they are all named. As well, some of the knots lack the imagery and description on how to make the knot. But one good side is. there are knots in this app I havent yet come across

Some of the pics are difficult to see well, but overall is helpful.

If you really wish to learn how to tie knots, hitches & bends then choose a different app. This app does not use step by step pictures with explanations (rarely anyway.) I suppose if your goal is to just remind yourself of what a particular knot looks like, then this app would have a bit more value. 1 star.

needs step by step pictures to be helpful in my book, its an alright start tho

It does need step by step, or more steps to make some of the knots, but then it challenges my kids to figure out how to make them. Not easy, but educational!!!! Free? Thanks

If you want an authoritative guide to knots especially how to tie knots ... this book has no teal practical value for you. A huge disappointment and a waste of my own good money.

Room for improvement but good...

When you have an Internet connection, the bottom knot in each category, and the ENTIRE bottom category, are not selectable due to ads being in the way.

A good list of knots and descriptions. Could use updates to some knots to better understand how to tie them. One picture is rarely enough to understand how to tie a knot.

This FREE app has more knots and accompanying information then other free apps Ive come across. Some knots like the monkey fist could use some step by step pictures but otherwise I could tie every other knot with ease. if you understand the principles and basics of knot tying then this app is for you, all others - stop complaining about a free app!

Its ok for a reference, but only gives a written description of how to tie some, not all, of the knots. If they included a step-by-step pictures guide it would be an excellent app

There is still a bug where the bottem of the screen is unselectable. I have not been able to select whipping knots since I got this app. Other than that very good, I like the background on the knot.

Most knots have bad or no actual tying instruction. Many of the fishing knots are flatly incorrect. Waste of time.
